We Don't Have To Dream
01:09

People keep dying and voices keep trying to remind me there's nothing like mornings with nothing to do but wouldn't you like to be something we can't see even when our eyes are closed and predisposed to seeing only flowers of certain colours and ufo's with their light shows it's just a weather balloon or an experimental aircraft, oh yeah then what's with all the lights in the sky spelling out the name of a local sports team, Frank says get it round you he supports another sports team from a nearby city but not near enough to see all the colours and lights that we get here all week, we watch them all night so we don't have to dream, so we don't have to dream.

EVERYONE WANTS TO BE A LOSER
You can pick bones and throw stones
You can sit down and be crowned
But it ain't worth a fiver at the end of the week
It ain't worth a fiver at the end of the week
Because everyone wants to be a loser
Everyone wants to be a loser, yeah!
Everybody wants to be a loo-hoo-ser
Everybody wants to be someone else
You can be coated in honey and attract lots of money
You can sit on the fence and dismiss common sense
But it ain't worth a fiver at the end of the week
It ain't worth a fiver at the end of the week
Because everyone wants to be a loser
Everyone wants to be a loser, baby!
Everybody wants to be a loo-hoo-ser
Everybody wants to be themselves
You can run for mayor and act like you care
In your private jet with your rhinoceros pet
But it ain't worth a fiver at the end of the week
It ain't worth a fiver at the end of the week
Because everyone wants to be a loser
Everyone wants to be a loser, uh-huh!
Everybody wants to be a loo-hoo-ser
Everybody wants to be someone else

Sally was born with a silver thorn in her side, on an extremely stormy night, or so her parents said, it was just an ordinary day.
Although she wasn't really that great at anything, she did her best, but for the folks of the town that just wasnt good enough.
Sally left home with thirteen quid, her clothes, a diary, her baby son and a drive to make the world a better place.
Although she wasn't really that great at anything, she hit 'em her hardest and then she hit the ground crawling.
Sally cleaned the floors and she paid her dues, but racked up debt and learned to sing the blues.
While her manager sits and weeps into his coffee cup, it's just another day, another divorce for him.
In a world where wealth is earned by effort Sally could pay her debt and at least get carpets for her flat.
But the game is rigged, you gotta start in the middle or stumble on luck if you want to live the life you deserve.
They couldn't see (could not see)
What was inside (What's inside)
Inside everyone (everyone)
A natural fire..... (natural fire)
Burning higher...
Cos God loves a tryer...

The Ballad Of Nobody
03:41

The sympathetic sound of the rain, and the colour of the night sky, is my new ringtone, my morning alarm.
The information in the air, the waves all around us, playing in my car, simple pop charm.
A sense of security, what do I need? Antivirus and a strong password.
Apply them to reality. I don't want to be loved, I want to win the lottery.
Fill your nose with the fumes of sighs, i'll try to controvert my existence with a bottle of rhymes.
Will I ever regain consciousness? Shall I count all my petals, reconstitute my mind.
A message from God in a crossword
A note from Mother on the fridge
An intravenous diary of thoughts stolen from the sun...
A testament of regicide in an empty republic
My flowers grow all year round

Some would say were the fortunate ones. Imaginary, processed nothingness as far as our imaginary, processed eyes can see, or touch. But then it hit me like a giant intergalactic quadruple decker brim filled with the m&m's I was chewing as I thought 'these don't grow in the wild?' And neither did I but here I am. As I squelched and shambled my way through the dusky orange woodland in search a cider guzzling ogre who would tell me how the world goes around, I sneezed and all the answers came out of me like a lemon-scented mafia leopard's captured errand boy in a police interrogation room, bribed with a jar of pickled beetroot, a Michael Bublé record and his fingers back. We are not here, we are not not here, we are not not not here, but if you ask Paul and Benjamin. Now they'd tell you a different story... But who's telling the truth? And more importantly, who bakes the best tiffin? Wouldn't you like to know...

Words I Never Said

WORDS I NEVER SAID
As flowers grow back into the ground
Incertitude condenses into sound
As I wait, my voice echos of words I never said
And the law have put a price upon my head
(Chorus) The walls echo of words I never said
You can't rest until your demons have been fed
What can you do with yesterday?
Whistle too hard and you'll blow it away
Running from tomorrow wont get you much today
Your choice you can leave or you can stay
The year is fourteen ninety two
Columbus is sailing the ocean blue
He didn't fancy taking an aeroplane at all
He's playing bass guitar on tour with The Fall
They get paid to lie, they get paid to croak
A vote's a plea, we're guilty! Says an 'average bloke'.
Guilty of validity, guilty of consciousness
Eldritch order posing as a mess
But what about little Domino Jo?
She ain't seen her sister since a quarter to 4
But then again she ain't seen anything else
They say she just got lost within herself
Tomorrow's papers existed yesterday
Everything's already here
Don't preach to me about livin' out your dreams
Unless you preach into the other ear...
(Outro chorus) Don't give me that diplomatic look
My dreams are made of absense and futuristic blues
Don't give me that diplomatic look
My dreams are made of nothing you can use

IN THE PRISONER'S CINEMA
I saw you in the prisoner's cinema
You were dancing with a shape
As I ponder you go round, as I sink you're up and down
As I question you go side to side
I saw you in the prisoner's cinema
I know you're dying to be the last of your kind
Careful darling, watch your mind
I know your mother so be kind
Now sail off into the sunset
I saw you in the prisoner's cinema
A crime committed at my fingertips
A confession on my tired lips
A lifetime on my hired hips
In the prisoner's cinema
In the prisoner's cinema
I don't know who I am, or what time is
In the prisoner's cinema
I don't know who I am, or what time is for, but who does?
I saw you in the prisoner's cinema
Take me on a ride to Jupiter
You can wash my guilt away
I'll make atonement everyday
In the prisoner's cinema

Derek Acorah

The spirits are gonna take you to town
Light anomaly, icy cold air
Energy fills the gaps in the room
Shadows brush against our hair
I said don't cry, don't cry Derek Acorah
Ghosts just don't like to be seen
To the lonely souls in old listed buildings
You're still the rock n roll queen
The voices inside your head may not be real
But neither are the voices outwith
Sam told me, Sam, Sam told me!
The devil's got the taste for me
I gotta get outta here...

Toothpaste is bad for you, it has fluoride, avoid it like the plaque.
Shoes and other forms of footwear are unnecessary. You don't need them in your life. Leave them in your local supermarket next to the olives. There's a good boy.
